Estrogen inhibition
The less estrogen you have floating around in your bloodstream, the leaner and harder you’ll look, as the aromatase enzyme (the one that converts testosterone to estrogen) is abundantly located deep within all fat cells. Elevated estrogen levels from large doses of testosterone can cause a number of problems including water retention and gynecomastia (man breasts).
So if you’re not looking ripped, it could be, in fact, that elevated estrogen is the real culprit that’s preventing you from looking super lean and hard. Unlike women whose estrogen levels fluctuate widely, men’s estrogen levels are more constant, and thus sometimes high, especially the older you get.
Elevated testosterone
Shredded contains a compound called uritica dioica (stinging nettle root). Originally investigated for its use in treating prostate disorders, it contains what are called “lignans” that directly prevent testosterone from binding to SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin). And when this happens, more of your naturally occurring testosterone will be utilized for what it does best, building muscle and making you strong. Most guys don’t know this, but only about 10% of all naturally produced testosterone is ever used to build muscle.
This is called “free testosterone” and the other 90% is “bound” by SHBG. So by blocking sex hormone binding globulin, you will “free up” more of your testosterone to build muscle. And this truly is the best way to increase test levels because you will never interfere with your natural production, which is definitely not the case when you take a testosterone injection.
Thermogenic action
