What is Reflex Instant Mass?
Instant Mass is the first weight gainer to use a blend of organic barley and oats. This ensures that you’re getting a source of low glycemic carbohydrates as well as naturally occuring fibre, vitamins and minerals.
What are the benefits of Reflex Instant Mass?
Instant Mass uses this preferred form of carbohydrates instead of Maltodextrin, which is the carb source you’ll typically find in weight gainers. However Maltodextrin has a high glycemic index, even higher than table sugar, which means it’ll spike your blood sugar levels, lead to increased carb cravings and may increase body fat levels too. This is what makes Instant Mass unique as the organic barley & oats are both recognized as good sources of slow releasing carbohydrates with naturally occurring vitamins, minerals and fibre (2.2g). Each serving is packed with 50g of these quality carbohydrates but only 3g of sugar so you can be assured that all you’ll be gaining is lean mass!
Each delicious shake also has 52g of protein, also from the best sources which are cold pressed, ultra-filtered whey protein concentrate, Whey protein Isolate and Milk Protein Concentrate which consists of 80% Micellar Casein and 20% Whey. Micellar Casein is made from fresh skimmed milk which is ultra-filtered, in a similar way that Whey protein is processed, and so results in a pure un-denatured milk protein and it also gives a timed release effect which helps to prevent muscle breakdown. Studies have shown that the form of casein protein used by Reflex can sustain steady amino acid elevations for up to 7 hours. Plus you get the added benefits of 20% whey for those times, such as post-workout, when you need a faster acting protein to feed your muscles.
